1. Reread lines 1-17 on pg. 38 list 3 details about their society. What is your opinion of their society?
I think they live in a horrible society because everyone has to be exactly equal.
2. In what ways are George and Hazel more like robots than humans? Why do you think this is? Because its like they don't really feel emotion like that anymore.
3. How would you describe the government in 2081 according to this story? Provide an example from the text. They have the worst government ever. I know its sad that they have to live in a world that everyone cannot be equal or they might go back to this so-called dark ages.
4. What does it tell you about the world that Harrison lives in if his mother has "average" intelligence and that means she cannot remember anything or think too long about anything? They live in a evil world with a bad government who will not let people be people and not robots.

6. What does the fact that Harrison is able to influence people tell you about how he is a threat to the government? he says that because Harrison was stronger and more intelligent than other who had to be equal.
7. Why does the government want everyone to wear handicaps? Because everyone has to be equal!
8. How would you describe George and Hazel's reaction to their son's death? Why is their reaction like this? the didn't have any reactions.
